TenderSearch goes green

TenderSearch joined the world's leaders in environmental sustainability at the recent Enviro 2002 Convention & Exhibition and IWA World Water Congress held in Melbourne.

Up to 6,000 people from Australia and overseas attended this premier event which included a series of conferences on water, waste, odour, and the business of the environment plus the biggest environmental trade show Australia and the Asia Pacific have ever seen.

Five environmental associations including The Australian Water Association (AWA), International Water Association (IWA), Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA), Clean Air Society of Australia & New Zealand (CASANZ) and Environment Business Australia (EBA) formed the core of the conference. As well as showcasing Australia's outstanding environment industry performance and leading-edge research and development, the event highlighted achievements of the participating organisations in providing global leadership in eliminating poverty and developing solutions to regional and global environmental problems.

Given its diverse client base in the environmental sector, TenderSearch joined over 200 exhibitors from the Australian environmental industry for the 6 day event.

TenderSearch provides notifications for a range of environmental businesses from soil sampling analysis organisations and waste transfer operators to land fill management companies, waste water treatment design construction companies and pipeline contactors. A key objective of the conference organisers was to provide a way of helping people get in touch with each other, in an effort to lead to better business outcomes for the environment industry and its customers in other industry sectors.

TenderSearch Marketing Manager, Matthew Whitehouse said that it was an excellent forum to catch up with existing clients and network with prospective new customers.

"The conference offered tremendous networking opportunities. Everything was under one roof with representatives from every part of the industry on site," he said.

"The response to our presence from the environmental sector was overwhelming," he added. "Apart from interest in our tender notification service we were inundated with queries about our tender training and tender preparation and management services," he said. "Businesses are coming to realise the importance of providing the complete most compliant tender response and are looking for the total tender solution."
