Primary Care Infrastructure Grants
Location:
The Primary Care Infrastructure Grants initiative is being implemented under the GP Super Clinics Program and comprises $64.5 million in 2010-11 and $52.5 million in 2011-12. Details of the three funding streams available in 2010-11 are contained within the application package.
The Department invites applications for Primary Care Infrastructure Grant funding from individuals and organisations to enable existing facilities to expand or to upgrade space for GPs, nurses and/or allied health professionals, strengthen team-based care services, establish or extend clinical training facilities, and provide GP Super Clinic-style services.

Disability Services Professional Development Grants
Location:
The Department of Human Services, Disability Services recognises the contribution that life-long learning and professional development makes towards a fulfilling work life.
As such, we encourage people currently working or wanting to work in Disability Services, to apply for Disability Services Professional Development Grants (DSPDGs).
DSPDGs (previously titled ''''disability scholarships and study tour awards'''') program, provide financial support for existing and potential workers to develop skills and knowledge in specific areas of need for people with a disability and service development.

The DSPDGs program consists of:
Study grants (for study via tertiary or TAFE courses that lead to a qualification): valued at between $3,000 - $5,000 (contribution towards course fees only incurred in 2011 & 2012)
Ethel Temby research grants (for research via PhD, Masters, formal research projects or interstate or overseas travel tours): valued at $9,000 (for costs incurred in 2011).

Energy Efficiency Improvements
Location:
Australian Carbon Trust is seeking Expressions of Interest from businesses and other organisations to enter into Strategic Relationships to co-invest with it to delivery energy efficiency improvements in existing non-residential buildings across Australia.
Australian Carbon Trust has been established by the Australian Government as an independent public company with over $75 million initial funding to provide finance and advice to businesses and the wider Australian community under innovative programs to catalyse investment in, take-up and use of energy-efficient technologies.
Criteria for eligibility include projects which feature:
- a high demonstration value
- scalability; are replicable and adaptable
- knowledge uplift and capacity in the market
- deliver cost effective energy savings
- provide significant additional private sector finance
- be genuinely additional to business-as-usual activity
Australian Carbon Trust will provide financial support to energy efficiency projects by a variety of means including low-interest rate loans, revolving loan arrangements and/or the provision of subordinated capital to support the creation of dedicated investment funds. Support could be sought for co-investment in 'flagship' retrofit projects and projects which scale up existing Government initiatives.
Potential partner organisations may include: financial institutions; property owners and tenants; industry associations; technology suppliers and advice companies; energy providers and service companies; public institutions such as hospitals, schools and local councils across the office, retail, hotel, education, community and health sectors.

Profile of Tourism Labour Market by Tourism Regions
Location:
The Department invites suitably qualified consultants/contractors to submit a tender for undertaking a study that includes an ABS Statistical Clearing House approved national on-line survey to identify geographical and occupational hot spots that will require priority attention for tourism and hospitality. Hot spots may be further defined as tourism regions where businesses are constrained by personnel resources or where the availability of personnel is expected to impact on future tourism growth. Tourism regions are defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics in publication 9503.0.55.001 (see: http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/mf/9503.0.55.001.
Output would include a report that identifies tourism and hospitality employment; the projected skills and labour needs by occupation and volume; the expected local labour supply; and the expected labour shortages by tourism region and occupation.
Timeframe for Delivery: 6 months.

Data Centre - Uninterruptible Power Supply and Switchboard
Location:
The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) are in the process of replacing their existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) infrastructure housed at their CBD Data Centre. This work will involve replacement of the UPS Systems and the input/output switchboard.

Review of the National Plan

AMSA is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake a review of Australia''''s National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances ("the National Plan") and the National Maritime Emergency Response Arrangements ("NMERA") which includes emergency towage capability.
The purpose is to determine if current arrangements are adequate to provide an effective response to marine casualties and pollution of the sea by oil and hazardous and noxious substances.
